Iveco-based Altas Viator to come here in 2020

Lithuanian-built Viator will come to the UK in 2020, says builder Altas

The Iveco Daily-based Altas Viator midicoach is planned to come to the UK in 2020, the Lithuanian company has revealed.

Altas has already placed a small number of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minicoach conversions into the UK market but the coachbuilt Viator represents its first venture into larger vehicles. It was launched in left-hand drive form at September’s IAA show in Hanover.

The Viator carries up to 30 passengers and it is built on a 7,200kg GWV Daily chassis.

In addition to touring versions, models suited for school bus and stage carriage work will be offered. Luggage capacity is 4.5m3 and overall length is 8.44m.
